Junk. Dont download. Overpriced and you cant even follow the game

Laggy and no audio

At first I gave it a 1 star...later my wife found out that it had to only be activated by a pc or laptop. After that I was able to use on my IPad. No volume from the game..but thats ok. Changing to a 3 star..

Its a $250 subscription fire MINOR LEAGUE hockey. To put that in perspective, NHL Gamecenter is $150, and MLB tv is $125. Those are PROFESSIONAL leagues. In other words, theyre claiming watching minor league sports is worth $100 more than watching pro sports. In short, theyre ripping you off.

The feed is playing both the home and away audio at the same time.

Tried to watch highlights on iPad and sound is not working.

I love being able to watch games in my iPad. There is one annoying bug that keeps me from giving 5 stars and thats an audio issue. The home and away audio is laid on top each other which means you hear two announcers talking over each other. The pop up to select the appropriate audio stream only has one selection. If I watch the same game on my PC this audio issue doesnt occur so it is clearly an app issue. I would expect this to be fixed pretty quickly and Ill update my review when it does get fixed.

This application is a major letdown! If I use my home computer with Windows 8 and adobe flash you can pick home or away team announcers. With the I-Phone application you hear both announcers at the same time that is worthless! There is an audio section screen but no option to pick home or away. Please fix this ASAP since nice to Air-Play the Hershey Bears game on the I-Phone on tv.

Pretty worthless app unless you are a fan of the AHL but not any team in particular. The ONE thing I would want/expect this app to have, is missing: league standings. Could this possibly be an oversight?

This app is for fans who purchase AHL Live to watch live & archived games on their iPhone & iPad. You can use AHL App for what your looking for

I love being able to watch my team play from the other side of the country! but when I try to listen to the away announcer, the audio is a good 10 seconds ahead of the video. When listening to the default announcer, you can hear both announcers plus the radio feed. 5 star app once the audio is worked out.

Worked fine for two games. On third account got locked out (wrong password?). Would not have been a bug deal if anyone actually answered the help chat. After three attempts and being told there was an error contacting the help chat I just gave up. Took whole first period of trying. Pay them up front and take your chances.

I cant believe someone would actually put out an app so poorly written and with a horrible UI. If you like The AHL, try to find a different way to watch the games. The developers of this app should be embarrassed, as should the AHL for allowing their good name to be put on this app.

It’s not so much the UI that is the tricky part, it’s the fact that the streaming quality, especially audio, is subpar for something you pay for. I understand the AHL has not grown to it’s fullest potential in popularity for these things to ACTUALLY matter to invest time and money, but you could at least make good promoters of the avid fans you already have.

This ap is useless... So much potential... Clearly little effort was put into making sure this was a quality product prior to releasing it to the public. The developers need to use spellcheck... The Featured tab is spelled Fetered

Where to begin? The UI is poorly designed. Select "Away" audio and the app will frequently freeze. It also freezes for no discernible reason. The only cure is to force-quit and kill the app, after which it makes you go thru the entire sign in process - all over again. Video quality is usually pretty much poor to mediocre, with lots of pixelation and freezes or chop. The League should be ashamed of themselves for charging good money for this product.
